INFANTS & CHILDREN

Infants/Children under 2 years of age

Children under 2 years of age may travel as a lap child. A lap child does not require a separate seat. Each adult passenger is limited to one lap child. Lap children must be listed on your reservation and ticketed for all Denver Air Connection flights. If you are booking directly with Denver Air Connection with a lap child, you must call our call center to add your lap child.  If you are booking through a third party such as a travel agency, an online travel agency (Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, etc.), or our partner airlines (American, United), you must ensure the third party lists your lap child on your reservation.

You may choose to purchase a separate seat for your child under 2.  Children may not share a seat, only one child is permitted per seat.

Passengers with lap children are not permitted to sit in an exit row seat.

Children under the age of 5

Children under the age of 5 years old must be accompanied by a passenger at least 16 years of age.  All children 2 years old and older are required to occupy their own seat aboard the aircraft. No child under the age of five may travel unaccompanied on a Denver Air Connection flight.

Children under 15 years of age

Children five to fourteen years of age are required to occupy their own seat aboard the aircraft. If the child is not accompanied by a passenger who is at least 16 years of age, the child must be booked as an unaccompanied minor.

Unaccompanied Children

No child under the age of five may travel unaccompanied on a Denver Air Connection flight. Children between 5 and 14 years of age who are not accompanied by a passenger age 16 or older must travel as an unaccompanied minor.  Unaccompanied minors must be met at the destination airport by a parent or guardian. Denver Air Connection cannot transfer an unaccompanied minor to a connecting flight.

Unaccompanied minors are subject to a $50 per leg ($100 round-trip) fee in addition to the cost of airfare. Unaccompanied minors must be booked directly with Denver Air Connection through our call center.
