Coronavirus Information

Key Lime Air/Denver Air Connection continues to closely monitor developments with respect to COVID-19. For those who may have questions around advice for travelers, we recommend visiting the U.S. Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) website at cdc.gov/travel.

Below is additional information to help answer questions you may have:

  • We are continuously operating under established best practices for aircraft cleanliness and sanitation. We follow the recommendations set forth by the CDC for ‘Preventing Spread of Disease on Commercial Aircraft’ as well as adhere to our own stringent internal guidelines.
  • All our aircraft are cleaned after every flight using disinfectant deemed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as effective against COVID-19. This cleaning regiment has always been part of our standard operating procedures and exceeds CDC guidance and recommendations.
  • For questions on how to stay healthy while traveling, please refer to the CDC’s advice on this topic by clicking here.

Personal Safety Recommendations

We recommend the CDC’s website as a resource for ways that Customers can best protect themselves from becoming ill. Additionally, Customers are encouraged to wash their hands frequently and use hand sanitizer and/or anti-bacterial wipes when traveling.

Mask Requirement

As of February 2, 2021, federal law requires each person to wear a mask at all times throughout the flight, including during boarding and deplaning.

Refusing to wear a mask is a violation of federal law and may result in denial of boarding, removal from the aircraft and/or penalties under federal law.

Masks must completely cover the nose and mouth of the wearer. Masks should be secured to the head, including with ties or ear loops. Masks should fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face. Masks can be either manufactured or homemade and should be a solid piece of material without slits, exhalation valves, or punctures. Medical masks and N-95 respirators are acceptable. Face shields, goggles, shirt collars, scarves, ski masks, balaclavas or bandanas do not meet this requirement. See the CDC mask guidance at https://www.cdc.gov/quarantine/masks/mask-travel-guidance.html for detailed mask requirements.
