Our Ticket Counter at O'Hare has Moved.

As of February 26th, the Denver Air Connection counter is in Terminal 2, next to Air Canada. Please enter the airport through door 2B on the upper level.

TSA in this terminal remains busy throughout the day. Please check security wait times on the agency's website or app and allow adequate time to get to our gate at G21 for boarding.

Online check-in begins 24 hours prior to departure time and ends 3 hours prior to departure time. If you are traveling with checked baggage, you must check-in at the ticket counter. Checked bags are accepted at the ticket counter up to one hour prior to departure. Please arrive at least 60 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.

Whether you check-in online or in person, it is your responsibility to allow enough time to complete the security screening process at the airport and be present at the departure gate on time.

Beginning May 7, 2025, you will need a REAL ID-compliant ID to fly within the United States. For a complete list of acceptable REAL ID identifications or additional information about REAL ID, visit www.dhs.gov/real-id.

Ticket Counter Location and Hours

The Denver Air Connection ticket counter is located in Terminal 2, next to Air Canada. Please enter the airport through door 2B on the upper level. Ticket counter opens 2 hours before flight time and closes one hour prior to departure time.

TSA in this terminal remains busy throughout the day. Please check security wait times on the agency’s website or app and allow adequate time to get to our gate at G19 for boarding.

Gate Location and Hours

Terminal 3 – Gate G21. Please check flight status monitors for current departure gate.
The gate closes 30 minutes prior to departure, and the ticket counter opens two hours prior to the flight departure.

When to arrive at the airport and Check in Information

Ticket counter check-in
If you are traveling with a paper ticket, or just need some extra help with the check-in process on the date of departure our customer service agents are always available to help get you going with an in-person check-in. Please note that checked baggage is only accepted  1 hour or more prior to departure.

Originating at Chicago
We request that you arrive 2 hours prior to your flight, but no later than 1 hour prior to your departure time.

Ticket counter check-in will close 1 hour prior to departure time. Any passengers not checked in at that time will not be allowed to board. No refunds will be given for missed flights due to late check-in.

Connecting Flights
Passengers connecting from other airlines with carry-on baggage only can check-in at the gate. Gate check-in begins 1 hour prior to departure time.

Passengers with checked baggage connecting from a United or American flight who have checked their baggage through to their final destination may check-in at the gate. It is your responsibility to ensure that your baggage is checked through to your final destination. If your baggage was only checked to ORD, you must retrieve your baggage from the baggage claim area, and check-in at the DAC ticket counter.

Passengers with checked baggage who are not connecting from United or American, or who have purchased separate tickets for their connecting flight must check-in at the ticket counter. You must retrieve your checked baggage from the baggage claim, then check-in at the Denver Air Connection ticket counter with your checked baggage. See the “Originating at Chicago” section above for ORD ticket counter times and location. It is your responsibility to leave enough time to complete security screening after checking in at the ticket counter.

Passengers must be at the boarding gate on time. Once the boarding door closes, you will be unable to board the flight. No refunds will be given for missed flights due to late arrival at the boarding gate regardless of whether you were already checked-in or have a confirmed seat.
